National Standards for School Work Experience
The National Standard for School Work Experience was designed to help schools implement and continuously improve a quality work experience programme. Originally developed and managed by the Centre for Education and Industry (CEI) at the University of Warwick, the Standard set a benchmark for the quality delivery of work experience by schools.
This standard, marketed, managed and assessed by Xperience, a work experienced focused support network organisation with a dedicated national website and the ability to draw on the most experienced practitioners in this field of work, will support schools and enhance the work started through their auditing process.
Schools will be able to register an interest, access the Standard and a portfolio building support tool on line and even print off their own storyboard of how they meet the DCSF standards and how they think they meet the National Standards for School Work Experience.
